Accounts/Payroll Assistant – Part Time
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £9.00 – £10.00 per hour (DOE)
Work Pattern: 9am – 2:30pm Tue/Wed/Thurs

Due to growth and success in our marketplace, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts/Payroll Administrator to assist the current Finance Manager, working within a busy recruitment office. This role is newly created due to growth and has scope for growth and development.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of sage payroll, ideally within a Recruitment Business
- Strong knowledge/experience of Sage software
- Understanding of HMRC legislation
- Ability to create reports
- Advanced Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Understanding of different Payroll schemes, including PAYE, CIS and Contractor payments
Duties will include:
- Credit Control
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Bank Reconciliations
- Expense claims
- VAT posting
- Preparing reports
